Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to diagnose orthopedic conditions using clinical evaluations and diagnostic imaging.
- Develop customized treatment plans that may include both surgical interventions and non-surgical management options based on individual patient needs.
- Execute surgeries with a focus on joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, and complex fracture repairs, ensuring precision and safety.
- Oversee patient care during all stages, including preoperative planning, intraoperative management, and postoperative follow-up and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment methodologies, and preventive care strategies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about the latest advancements in orthopedic practices.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in orthopedic surgery.
- Strong surgical skills with expertise in a variety of orthopedic procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and their respective treatment options.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.
- Able to thrive in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus.
