As a Test Engineer, you are at the heart of innovation, transforming engineering designs into tested, proven systems. You meticulously set up complex test rigs, calibrate sensors, and monitor live engine data, ensuring that each turbine performs flawlessly. Your insights drive improvements, from enhancing test procedures to optimizing engine performance. When a test reveals unexpected results, you lead root-cause analyses, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine designs. What You´ll Do

  • Testing & Validation
    • Plan, execute, and analyze R&D development tests to support product innovation and improvement.
    • Conduct engine pass-off tests to ensure production engines meet performance and quality specifications.
    • Develop and refine test procedures to ensure consistent, accurate, and efficient testing.
  • Process & Infrastructure Improvement
    • Evaluate the performance and efficiency of the test cell, identifying opportunities for optimization and upgrades.
    • Implement and lead initiatives to improve testing infrastructure, tools, and methodologies.
    • Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to streamline related processes, ensuring smooth transitions from testing to assembly and delivery.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to align testing with project objectives and timelines.
    • Provide detailed test results, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of engine issues identified during testing.
  • Production Support
    • Contribute to improving engine assembly workflows by providing insights gained through testing and validation.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure testing schedules and production processes align with delivery targets.

Requirements

What You´ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in testing or validation within gas turbines, aerospace, or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of gas turbine operation, performance testing methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and test cell instrumentation.

Would Be a Plus If:

  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Manufacturing experience or knowledge of engine assembly processes is a strong advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
