We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Software Development Engineer in Test to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated testing across our platform’s APIs, integrations, and front-end flows. 

You will help embed testability into our SDLC, support CI/CD integration, and drive a culture of continuous quality improvement. 

Responsibilities 

  • Design, write, and maintain automated test plans and scripts focused on: API testing , Integration testing, End-to-End (E2E) UI testing
  • Acceptance testing in collaboration with product owners 
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure testability of features and clarity of requirements 
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using modern tools (e.g., Playwright, Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent) 
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar systems 
  • Proactively log, track, and verify defects, ensuring swift resolution and regression coverage 
  • Define and monitor quality metrics (e.g., API coverage, test stability, regression escape rate) 
  • Conduct manual exploratory testing to validate edge cases and complex workflows
  • Perform load and performance testing to ensure system stability under varying conditions
  • Advocate for an automation-first quality strategy, reducing reliance on repetitive manual testing 
  • Provide feedback during requirement and design reviews on acceptance criteria, edge cases, and system interactions 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline 
  • 5+ years in QA or SDET roles, with a strong focus on API, integration, and E2E automation
  • Proven experience in: 

-API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured, or custom API test frameworks) 

-UI test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) 

-Writing robust automated tests in C#, TypeScript

-Comfortable integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar) 

  • Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git) 
  • Experienced in testing microservices or distributed systems 
  • Skilled in troubleshooting across layers (API, UI, logs, network) 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills 
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, capable of working independently or embedded in dev squads

  • Experience with performance and load testing (e.g., k6, JMeter) 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially Azure)
