About the role:

As a Trainee Frontend Engineer you are starting your journey in web development, gaining hands-on experience by building and maintaining user interfaces for fundcraft’s digital platform. You work closely with experienced engineers, learning how to apply technologies like React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in real-world applications. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you actively participate in the development process, from translating designs into functional components to debugging and troubleshooting issues. This role focuses on your learning and growth, providing mentorship and feedback to help you improve and build a solid foundation in frontend development.

This position is based in Girona, Spain and reports to our Lead Frontend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply foundational web development skills, working with technologies such as React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with the development department to assist in building and maintaining user interfaces for web applications, following best practices for code structure and performance.
• Implement designs provided by the UX/UI unit into reusable components, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Participate in code reviews with more experienced engineers to improve your coding skills and gain feedback on best practices.
• Contribute to the unit’s sprint planning, supporting the development of new features and updates to the platform.
• Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues under the guidance of senior engineers, learning how to identify and resolve common web development problems.
• Grow your understanding of Agile methodologies and modern development workflows, including version control and CI/CD processes.
