We are seeking for a System Engineer for our operations in Skopje, that will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of automated teller machines (ATMs). This role requires expertise in ATM and PC software, networking, ATM security, add-on software solutions, and electronic journal analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver technical support, implement solutions, and ensure the optimal performance of ATMs.

Responsibilities

ATM Software Installation and Configuration:

• Install, configure, and upgrade ATM software to meet client and regulatory requirements.

• Integrate add-on software solutions such as marketing displays, remote management tools, and reporting systems.

Network and Connectivity Support:

• Configure and troubleshoot ATM networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless).

• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues between ATMs, servers, and banking systems.

Security Management:

• Implement and maintain ATM security protocols, including encryption, firewalls, and anti-skimming solutions.

• Monitor and address vulnerabilities to protect against cyber and physical attacks.

Electronic Journal Analysis and Troubleshooting:

• Analyze electronic journals (EJs) to investigate transaction discrepancies and operational issues.

• Provide insights and resolutions based on EJ findings.

Customer Support and Training:

• Collaborate with clients to address technical issues and provide operational guidance.

• Train clients and end-users on software features, security measures, and troubleshooting basics.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs, EJ analysis reports, and security audit results.

• Provide detailed reports on ATM performance, uptime, and recurring issues.

• This position reports directly to the Cluster ATM Supervisor

Requirements

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of ATM and/or PC software platforms, including Windows-based systems.

• Expertise in networking protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting, min 5 years

• Familiarity with ATM security solutions such as firewalls, encryption, and anti-skimming devices.

The advantage would be:

• Experience with ATM software solutions such as NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, or Wincor.

• Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and industry security standards.

• Availability for on-call support.
