Our role:

We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As part of the agile software development team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and applying effective analysis, design, programming, and testing skills, delivering improvements and features into a multi-tenanted, cloud-based SaaS application.

The role reports to the Development Manager in Sydney and does not involve any people's responsibilities.

A day in your role:

    • Working as part of an Agile software development team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, UX designers, and other Engineers, to gather requirements and iterate over them to deliver exceptional software solutions. 
    • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to Objective coding standards. 
    • Ensuring timely delivery of quality software solutions to the production environments.
    • Identifying and resolving software defects and performance bottlenecks through debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation techniques.

Your skills, experience and beyond:

    • Proven experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade level web applications.
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience in ReactJS.
    • Extensive experience using TypeScript.
    • Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
    • An advocate for clean coding and strong application security.
    • Good to have: Experience in NodeJS backend, knowledge of Playwright/E2E testing framework and cloud development experience.
    • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Effective and creative problem-solving skills.
