As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping backend architecture, ensuring system reliability, and driving engineering best practices. You will work closely with frontend teams, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services using NodeJS
• Architect and optimize relational databases with PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and data integrity
• Define backend architecture, coding standards, and best practices across the engineering team
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support web and mobile applications
• Ensure application scalability, availability, and security through thoughtful system design
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to improve team output
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between client and server layers
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations at both application and database levels
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms for production systems
• Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and architectural decision-making
• Work closely with product and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time
• Ensure backend systems follow industry best practices related to security, data privacy, and compliance

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of backend development experience, with a strong focus on NodeJS
