This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Go Lang, AWS in India.

In this role, you will design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions for cloud-based systems, working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. You will take ownership of end-to-end development, from requirement gathering and architecture design to implementation and deployment, ensuring performant and reliable solutions. Your work will directly impact client success by delivering efficient, customer-facing products that meet business goals. Collaboration, technical excellence, and adherence to best practices in software engineering will be essential to drive innovation and maintain code quality. The role provides opportunities to work on complex systems using Go, AWS, Docker, and modern development tools while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain performant, testable, and secure software solutions using Go and AWS.
• Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and end-to-end project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand requirements and user pain points.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful deployment and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project status, reporting, and documentation.
• Uphold best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodology throughout the software lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Go Engineer.
• Proficiency in Go programming, multithreaded/multiprocessing systems, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS required, Azure a plus).
• Knowledge of Python and FastAPI is a plus.
• Experience building medium-to-large scale software systems with frontend/backend components.
• Strong understanding of architectural styles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP guidelines.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with a global development team.
