This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Front-end Software Engineer in India.

As a Front-end Software Engineer, you will design and develop highly interactive and scalable user interfaces that power critical workflows in a fast-growing identity and access management platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that improve usability, security, and customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to influence the product architecture, contribute to testing best practices, and implement innovative frontend solutions. Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance frontend features using React, TypeScript, and CSS.
  • Write unit tests (Jest) and end-to-end tests (Cypress or Playwright) to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team leads, product managers, and designers to deliver features, bug fixes, and enhancements.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and improvements in frontend development practices.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve conflicts and implement seamless user experiences across multiple systems.
  • Document frontend components and maintain consistency across the codebase using tools like Storybook.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing frontend applications with React and CSS.
  • 1+ years of experience using TypeScript in a React codebase.
  • Familiarity with unit testing and E2E testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Strong knowledge of React hooks, asynchronous state management, and complex state libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Jotai).
  • Experience building well-documented and reusable UI components.
  • Understanding of metrics and telemetry systems to measure and improve user experience.
  • Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset.

Bonus / Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in identity, security, or SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend development patterns and scalable UI architectures.
  • Experience in an agile, fast-paced startup environment.
