We’re looking for a Junior Backend Engineer who is eager to grow, learn, and contribute to building scalable and reliable backend systems for The Chefz. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, supporting the development of features and services that power our platform.

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and designers on feature delivery.
• Continuously learn and adopt best practices in software development.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in backend development (internships or projects acceptable).
• Familiarity with one or more backend languages (PHP, Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of version control (Git).
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
