This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Lead Product Designer in North America.

As a Senior Lead Product Designer, you will guide the creation of intuitive, innovative, and user-centered product experiences across digital and physical platforms. You will lead design system evolution, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and translate user insights into actionable design solutions. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on design leadership, ensuring production-ready outputs that meet both business goals and customer needs. You will drive user research, prototype development, and interface design for complex interactions, while mentoring design teams and setting company-wide design standards. This position offers the opportunity to shape meaningful product experiences that enhance accessibility, usability, and user independence.

Accountabilities

·         Lead the evolution, maintenance, and implementation of design systems.

·         Collaborate with design teams, product managers, and technical staff to ensure seamless product experiences across commercialization stages.

·         Direct user research initiatives and synthesize findings into actionable design improvements.

·         Develop interfaces for complex interactions, including remote adjustments, firmware updates, and diagnostics.

·         Oversee prototyping, visual, motion, and interaction design to convey product experiences effectively.

·         Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring designs are production-ready and aligned with company standards.

·         Facilitate meetings, convey project updates, and support rollout processes for software development teams.

Requirements

·         Master’s degree in Design, Design Management, Digital Media, or related technical design discipline, plus 3 years of experience as a product designer or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience.

·         Ownership of end-to-end design for consumer mobile applications.

·         Proficiency in designing complex interaction flows, information architecture, visual and motion design, and prototyping.

·         Expertise in Figma and B2C digital product design, with knowledge of mobile UX/UI best practices.

·         At least one year of experience in Healthcare, Medtech, or a similarly regulated industry.

·         Strong leadership and collaboration skills, capable of guiding teams and aligning design outputs with business and user needs.

·         Experience mentoring designers and setting design standards across teams.
