Accountabilities

• Conduct internal red-team exercises to challenge client-side bot detection mechanisms and ensure robust protection.
• Develop automation tools to detect bypasses and analyze potential misconfigurations on customer websites.
• Enhance client-side detection scripts by adding new signals and improving browser fingerprinting capabilities.
• Strengthen the security and resilience of JavaScript code through obfuscation and anti-reverse-engineering techniques.
• Collaborate with mobile teams to improve bot detection within SDKs and mobile platforms.
• Research and implement innovative detection approaches in collaboration with threat research and other technical teams.
• Communicate research results externally through meetups, conference talks, academic papers, or blog posts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience programming in JavaScript.
• Strong computer science foundation and understanding of web client-side technologies.
• Experience dealing with bots, malware, or security challenges in web environments.
• Solid knowledge of web and network infrastructures.
• Analytical mindset with a hacker spirit and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for internal and external collaboration.
• Nice-to-Have: experience in a cybersecurity company, WebAssembly, or compiler development.
