This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Front End Engineer | Humax in Europe.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge EV charging platforms and connected mobility solutions across Europe. You will work closely with international teams, designing and building web and mobile applications that enable seamless user experiences for commercial EV charging products. The position emphasizes front-end development while also providing flexibility to support mobile and occasional backend tasks. You will have a direct impact on shaping both the technical direction and future team structure in the European region. The role is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-growing, mission-driven environments, enjoy collaborating across distributed teams, and want to influence the future of sustainable mobility solutions. Occasional travel to London may be required to collaborate with stakeholders.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript for commercial EV charging platforms.
• Support mobile development with React Native as needed.
• Integrate backend APIs, payment gateways, and real-time communication protocols.
• Deliver responsive, user-friendly UI/UX in collaboration with designers using Figma/Zeplin.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies across distributed teams in Europe, the UK, and Korea.
• Contribute to documentation, propose improvements, and ensure scalable, maintainable front-end solutions.
• Occasionally support backend tasks and collaborate on cross-functional technical projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong front-end expertise in React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React Native and mobile app development.
• Proven experience integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Solid understanding of responsive UI/UX principles.
• Experience in EV charging solutions, IoT, or related hardware/software integration.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Backend exposure (Node.js/Express, Python/FastAPI).
• Knowledge of payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal) and OCPP protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms & DevOps (AWS/Azure, Docker, CI/CD).
• Experience working in distributed, international teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive, collaborative mindset.
