Position: Systems Engineer
Work Location: Onsite, Belcamp, MD, Orlando, FL, Camden, AR, Fullerton, CA, Santa Clarita, CA, Rustburg, VA.
Daily schedule: 40 hours per week, standard business hours

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, configure, and implement secure cloud and on-premises solutions that meet CMMC control requirements. This role focuses on assessing IT environments, applying secure configurations, and supporting audit readiness through technical validation and documentation.
Requirements
- Assess and remediate cloud and on-premises IT environments to align with CMMC security controls and NIST SP 800-171 requirements.
- Design and implement secure configurations for networks, endpoints, servers, and applications.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for access control, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
- Support evidence gathering and technical validation for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are compliant, hardened, and properly documented.
- Configure and manage Azure security services, including WAF, Shield, Security Hub, Macie, GuardDuty, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
- Participate in vulnerability management and remediation efforts using tools such as Nessus or similar.
- Stay current with evolving CMMC, DoD, and cybersecurity regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
- Strong documentation and communication skills to support audit readiness and cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in system security, cloud architecture, and infrastructure engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365
- Experience with secure enclave design and implementation, particularly in Microsoft GCC High or similar environments.
- Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and DFARS compliance frameworks.
