The Role
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our online social media presence and community engagement across all social platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that grows our brand and community, whilst creating and executing our Affiliate & Creator Programs to drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a results-driven social media strategy aligned with brand and marketing objectives
- Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content (organic and paid) across platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.
- Plan and manage the social content calendar in collaboration with internal creative and marketing teams for MARCHON’s main, Training & Gyms pages.
- Manage the Creator and Affiliate Programs, recruiting new affiliates, managing relationships, providing assets, brief content, and track performance to drive revenue growth.
- Create UGC-style content, if needed, for Tiktok and Instagram.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and industry news to keep the brand relevant and innovative.
- Engage with the community by responding to comments, DMs, mentions, and user-generated content in a timely and brand-appropriate tone
- Track and report on key metrics including reach, engagement, growth, and ROI. Provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimisation
- Create UGC-style content when needed for any of MARCHON’s pages
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media for a brand or agency.
- Proven ability to grow and engage a social following organically.
- Strong knowledge of key social platforms, algorithms, best practices, and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Proficient in social media scheduling & analytics
- Confidence in creating and editing UGC content
- Strong understanding of the fitness industry
- Data-savvy with experience analysing metrics and using insights to guide content strategy.
- Strong understanding of brand tone, audience targeting, and trend-based marketing.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating short-form video content (e.g., Reels, TikToks).
- Basic photography or video editing skills.
