This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Filevine. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer (Back-end) in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain back-end systems that power innovative, AI-driven legal technology. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will work on cloud-native applications, optimize system performance, and help ensure software reliability and scalability. You will lead technical initiatives, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members while collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering with leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement, providing exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as .NET, C#, Redis, AWS, and AI-powered features. This is a high-impact position for engineers who enjoy building scalable software, driving innovation, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
· Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end applications using modern programming languages and cloud-native technologies.
· Lead initiatives in software and process improvement, identifying opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
· Conduct detailed code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
· Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software issues to ensure high-quality, reliable performance.
· Mentor and guide other engineers, contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, AI-driven solutions for clients.
Requirements
· 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with back-end focus.
· Proficiency in C#, .NET, or other modern programming languages.
· Experience with NoSQL data stores (e.g., Redis, ElasticSearch) and cloud services (e.g., AWS).
· Familiarity with software development life cycle best practices and source control systems (e.g., GitHub).
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively on projects.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Preferred: experience with OIDC, OAuth, and AI-driven software systems.
· B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
