This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Crossmint. We are currently looking for an Android Engineer - SDKs (Contract) in the United States or Spain.

We are seeking an experienced Android SDK Engineer to design and build high-quality mobile SDKs that enable seamless integration of financial and agentic commerce features. This role involves architecting solutions for authentication, wallets, payments, and other core functionalities while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust SDK implementations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, takes ownership of projects end-to-end, and is passionate about delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. You will contribute to shaping the mobile engineering culture, mentoring team members, and helping bring next-generation financial applications to life.

Accountabilities

• Design, architect, and implement Android SDKs from concept to deployment, focusing on features such as authentication, smart wallets, and payments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into efficient, high-quality SDK solutions.
• Document architecture, design decisions, and implementation processes clearly for internal and external stakeholders.
• Own projects end-to-end, including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Mentor and guide other mobile engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ensure SDKs are scalable, secure, and maintainable, adhering to industry best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience, with at least 1 year specifically in mobile SDK development using Java or Kotlin.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming expertise in Java and/or Kotlin with proven ability to deliver production-ready SDKs.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Bonus: Experience with blockchain or Web3 technologies, React Native, or Flutter is highly valued.
