In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of a cloud-based cybersecurity training platform designed to support both enterprise teams and individual learners. You will define and drive the SaaS roadmap, optimize subscription models, and shape scalable, hands-on learning experiences. The position requires a balance of technical expertise, market insight, and product leadership to deliver secure, high-performing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, content, sales, and customer success, to ensure measurable outcomes such as certification achievement, learner progression, and platform growth. Accountabilities

  • Lead the vision, roadmap, and strategy for a cybersecurity-focused SaaS platform, ensuring alignment with learner needs and industry demands.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and instructional designers to identify gaps, define certification pathways, and introduce new training modules.
  • Apply learner-centric methodologies, data analytics, and A/B testing to improve progression, skill retention, and certification outcomes.
  • Prioritize product features, balancing enterprise and individual needs, while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards (SOC 2, GDPR, FERPA).
  • Oversee secure, scalable SaaS development in collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring high availability of lab environments.
  • Support go-to-market efforts by enabling sales, marketing, and customer success teams with strategies for adoption, subscription growth, and product-led growth models.
  • Monitor learning analytics, subscription metrics, and platform performance to inform ongoing product improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, education technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in product management, with at least 6 years in SaaS (cybersecurity, EdTech, or enterprise training preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and familiarity with certification programs (CompTIA, CISSP, CEH, SANS, etc.).
  • Expertise in subscription metrics (MRR, churn analysis, conversion funnels) across B2B and B2C models.
  • Knowledge of secure cloud architecture, compliance standards, and lab provisioning.
  • Experience managing diverse user personas, from beginners to advanced practitioners and enterprise managers.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to optimize learning paths and improve certification success rates.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for varied stakeholders.
  • Passion for cybersecurity education and advancing workforce skills.
  • Preferred: cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CISSP, CISM), hands-on lab or simulation experience, and familiarity with enterprise SaaS sales cycles.
