ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a UX/UI & Content Designer to join our dynamic team at Comms8. This role is ideal for a creative and versatile designer who is passionate about user experience, visual storytelling, and digital content creation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the local manager, you will support design, UX/UI, and content creation across multiple regions in the APAC market.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of creative and operational activities while making a significant impact within InfluenConnect x Comms8.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- UX/UI Design
- Design user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for websites, mobile applications, and digital platforms.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to improve website and app usability.
- Conduct user research, analyze behavioural data, and recommend UX/UI improvements based on insights.
- Work with developers to ensure seamless execution of UX/UI designs.
- Optimize the design and user experience of digital campaigns and landing pages.
- Graphic Design & Branding
- Develop engaging visual assets, including logos, banners, infographics, and marketing materials.
- Ensure consistent branding across digital and print materials.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling advertising and promotional assets.
- Design pitch decks, corporate presentations, and investor materials to enhance brand storytelling.
- Video Content Creation & Motion Graphics
- Edit and produce short-form videos for social media, YouTube, and internal presentations.
- Create basic animations and motion graphics to enhance storytelling across digital channels.
- Ensure video content is optimized for various platforms and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Support in shooting, editing, and post-production of digital video projects.
- Social Media & Digital Content
- Assist in brainstorming, creating, and managing engaging content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in social media and digital content to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Develop localized visual and video content tailored for APAC audiences, especially in Asian and Chinese media landscapes.
- Work closely with the marketing team to produce visually compelling campaign materials.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in UX/UI design, graphic design, and video content creation.
- Proficiency in UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and experience with wireframing and prototyping.
- Expertise in graphic design and video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Basic animation and motion graphics skills (knowledge of After Effects or other animation tools is a plus).
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI designs, branding, and video content creation.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Simplified Chinese (written & spoken) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Asian/Chinese culture and media landscape.
- Strong interest in social media trends and digital storytelling.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
