Practi is building the fintech for UK healthcare. At a time when the healthcare landscape in the UK is changing rapidly, we're building solutions for both healthcare professionals, and patients, that increase access to healthcare for everyone.

Practi is a corporate venture, proudly part of the Simplyhealth group (a purpose-driven B Corp), which means we have all the financial stability and industry expertise or an established player, but with the agility and autonomy of a start-up.

We're passionate about solving these issues for everyone, and whilst we've started in the Dental sector, we have big plans to expand across multiple healthcare verticals. About the role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to facilitate a cross-functional squad in delivering impactful product improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing teams together, aligning stakeholders around a shared vision, and guiding product discovery and execution. You will play a key role in ensuring the squad is working effectively, making informed decisions, and continuously improving the product based on data and user insights.


What you'll do

  • Facilitate a cross-functional squad, ensuring strong collaboration between engineering, design, and business teams.
  • Guide product discovery sessions, helping teams explore user needs, validate problems, and define solutions.
  • Support the team in delivering key product features and improvements, balancing user needs and business objectives.
  • Help define clear objectives and success metrics, ensuring the squad is aligned on priorities and impact.
  • Facilitate squad ceremonies, keeping momentum across backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Bring data and insights into decision-making, working with teams to assess user behaviour and product performance.
  • Help align the team with product positioning, understanding the competitive landscape and customer pain points.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and customer success teams, ensuring feedback is incorporated into the product.
  • Support smooth execution, ensuring problems are well-defined, and that teams have the context they need to move forward.

Requirements

Must-have

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Commercial product management experience, ideally in a startup or scale-up.
  • Experience facilitating a cross-functional product squad.
  • Confidence in leading product discovery sessions, guiding teams through problem definition, research, and ideation.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing product analytics tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret insights and help teams make informed decisions.
  • A bias toward action – you take initiative and help teams maintain momentum.
  • Right to work in the UK (citizenship, ILR, valid work visa, etc.).
  • Willingness to work on-site three days a week at our London (Southwark) office.

Nice to have

While not required, experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Experience with Mixpanel.
  • Experience in financial technology products.
  • Experience in regulated industries.

Working pattern

3 days a week in the office (WorkingFrom Hoxton, 32 Blackfriars Road, Southwark, SE1 8DP)

Interview process

  1. Video questions (15 mins) - We’ll ask you to provide responses to a few questions by video.
  2. Product exercise and presentation (45 mins) – A practical task to assess your approach to problem-solving and product thinking. We’ll provide a short take-home task for you to prepare before a virtual presentation.
  3. Final in-person interview (60 mins) – Meet with key team members at our London office.
