Levr.ai is a venture-backed early-stage fintech startup on a mission to transform the way businesses access capital and manage loans. About the role

In this high-impact role, you will join our team of frontend developers to work closely with the Design and Backend developers to grow the capabilities of our Levr.ai web platform. You will iterate quickly and deliver high quality code in a fast-paced environment that grows the foundation on which future product is built.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Product Design and Backend teams to build elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Discovering, experimenting, prototyping and building features that drive high-value customer experiences.
  • Demonstrating ownership over our UX/UI, and initiative to constantly improve the experience.
  • Contributing to wider product design and strategy conversations with founders and other developers.
  • Improving front-end performance and user experience on a continuous basis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Located and legally authorized to work in Canada and/or the USA is a requirement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a fully-remote environment.
  • Experience in implementing a UI/UX according to design specifications.
  • Industry experience in the following technologies:
    • React
    • Redux (and related tools like RTK Query)
    • Javascript (and related ecosystem)
  • Experience in converting concepts and user requirements into beautiful UI/UX.
  • Experience of software and UX design best practices and process, including testing, mobile responsiveness and rapid prototyping.
  • Background and reference check will be performed for financial security compliance

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of, and experience in, the following technologies:
    • State management, using tools like Redux-Toolkit
    • Component libraries like Mantine
    • UI/UX Design, using tools like Figma
    • AI software development, using tools like Cursor
    • Architectural and software engineering patterns
    • Cloud resources, such as hosting providers, DNS, Proxies etc
  • Knowledge of security (product, networking, authorization and authentication, etc) and compliance implications when developing fintech products (e.g. GDPR)
  • Affinity for creating documentation and other communication/organizational systems
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup and/or understanding of its fast-paced nature and the opportunities and challenges it presents

Compensation and Perks:

  • Compensation: CAD 90K-120K (USD 65K-85k) base salary based on experience
