The Senior Systems Engineer will play a critical role in the design, integration, testing, and deployment of advanced defense systems. You will work across the full systems lifecycle, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure mission-critical solutions meet stringent operational requirements. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting complex hardware and software systems, conducting field and lab testing, and analyzing telemetry and performance data to optimize system functionality. You will contribute to solutions that directly enhance defense capabilities, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where precision, innovation, and collaboration are paramount. The position requires active engagement with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring system integrity and successful project outcomes.
· Perform integration, verification, and testing in laboratory and field environments to ensure systems meet operational specifications.
· Collect, review, and analyze test data, producing quick-look reports and documentation for key milestones.
· Trace and troubleshoot faults in mechanical, electronic, or software systems, utilizing failure analysis and corrective action procedures.
· Develop and update technical documentation to support formal test reviews and approvals, including TRR, CTS, and TDR packages.
· Conduct flight line testing and participate in operational deployments, often requiring extended or non-standard hours.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to optimize integration and performance.
· Travel domestically and internationally to support testing, stakeholder engagements, and program requirements.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant systems engineering experience.
· Experience in hardware and weapons systems integration, including flight testing on military aircraft platforms.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and use of lab/field test equipment.
· Familiarity with telemetry data collection and analysis, RF/EO sensor integration, and test systems design.
· Experience preparing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers in design reviews and technical meetings.
· Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 and MIL-STD-1760 interfaces is preferred.
· Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. and work in industrial and operational environments.
· Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required.
