Role Summary

We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team with demonstrable experience in designing and building scalable software engineering systems.

As a valued member of the team at CloudFactory, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions that enhance our machine learning and core business capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and build CI/CD pipelines to support automation, reliability, and scalability of our applications in a production setting. You will also be responsible for cloud infrastructure architecture and design.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you would have a high degree of autonomy and be responsible for designing and implementing new CI/CD pipelines that empower the engineering team, as well as manage and optimize cloud infrastructure. You would collaborate closely with development teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, latency, and monitoring. You should be able to communicate complex issues clearly to stakeholders from the tech, product, or business teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years working with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• 2+ years experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Proficiency using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Experience using CI/CD platforms to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana
  

Good to have:

• Python or Go experience in production environments
• Postgres DBA experience
• Familiar with a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
